An incredible adventure awaits: The Arctic Trek 2020

Sign up for the experience of a life-time in support of your local hospice

If trekking up to 70km in temperatures as low as -30℃ degrees, dragging your equipment behind you in a pulk, and sleeping in tents in the Arctic Circle sounds ‘cool’, then Scotland’s Hospices Together have the perfect challenge for you!

Taking place from the 5-10 March 2020 you will head to Rovaniemi in Finland before beginning your three day adventure. Although not for the faint hearted, the Arctic trek is consistently considered “the best challenge ever” where you’ll make friends for life, take home memories that no pictures can impart, and where you will be part of something very few others will ever experience.

The personal achievement when you cross the ‘Finnish line’ is not the only thing to celebrate! Your efforts will ensure that the charity you chose from the Scotland’s Hospices Together partnership can continue to provide free person-centred, palliative and end-of-life care and support to hundreds of patients and families/

In addition to the tougher side of the challenge, there will be the opportunity to tick off a few popular bucket list items; see some of the world’s most breath taking scenery and glistening snowdrifts, spend a night in the Arctic Snow Hotel or you might even catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights!

A full information pack for the trek is available upon request from the charity you would like to support. Please get in touch using the list below.
